As the chair of the Rotary's Community Service Committee, George Scott presented a cheque for $1,000 to CONTACT Community Services.
CONTACT had made a grant request to the Rotary Club of Alliston to help support families in need in New Tecumseth. Present for the photo are Brenda Pufek, Engagement and Development Officer, and Emily McIntosh, Executive Director. CONTACT has been serving the needs of our most vulnerable in South Simcoe for more than 40 years. Among its many support services, they operate The Clothes Line, a community thrift store on Victoria Street in Alliston, where donations of clothing and household items are re-purposed, with the proceeds going to those in need of employment or housing.
