Cooperative Young Leaders  - Emma R.

Please join us at the Gibson Centre at 7:00 PM on Monday, 22 September for our next meeting of the membership. 
 
As a guest speaker, we will welcome Emma Ray.  Emma couldn't be with us back in August and so she has rescheduled her talk  She'll be telling us about her experience at the Cooperative Young Leaders camp in July. 
The Rotary Club of New Tecumseth supports the youth of our community in a variety of ways.  For the past two years, Rotary has been a sponsor of the Co-operative Young Leaders program led by the Ontario Co-operative Association.  Founded in 1967, it’s a week-long summer camp which empowers participants by equipping them with the change-making tools and skills they need to succeed in the world. Campers develop self-confidence, learn from inspiring guest speakers, and have a load of fun with traditional camp activities.
 
Emma, who is a student at Banting Memorial going into Grade 12, was excited to participate and will have some interesting feedback for us on her time with CYL.  So come out and hear from a bright, young member of our community.
 
We will also have more details about our upcoming fundraising program, the Calendar/Lottery, coming in November.
